Our roads are made where there are none!
Governance Statement: Robin Motor Sport
Our Governance is Forged in Independence.
Robin Motor Sport was forged from a simple principle: self-reliance. It began in 1985 not in a Small single garage, with my first car a ZAR150 Beetle in pieces, rebuilt by hand. That foundational experience—solving problems with our own ingenuity, accountable only to our own standards—defines our approach to governance today.
We are a company built without external help or influence. Consequently, our governance is intrinsically internal. We reject the imposition of external, often irrelevant, governance models that serve outside interests over our operational reality.
Our policies are not for adornment; they are for application.
Our governance philosophy is therefore clear and uncompromising:
- Autonomy in Direction: We stand alone in deciding our path. Our strategic decisions are made by those whose hands are dirty, whose history is long, and whose only allegiance is to the integrity of our brand and the satisfaction of our community.
- Pragmatism in Practice: We glean and adopt only those strategies, policies, and systems that demonstrably benefit our specific operations and enhance our ability to deliver exceptional vehicles and parts. If it does not serve a practical purpose, it has no place here.
- Unwavering Integrity: While we govern ourselves, we do so within a strict framework of self-imposed excellence. We rigorously align with all legal requirements, OEM manufacturing specifications, and international operational standards.
- Our commitment to quality, safety, and ethical conduct is non-negotiable and is the bedrock of our internal accountability.
Robin Motor Sport is not a company that follows the roads travelled by most.
We are the ones who build them, on our own terms, to protect our legacy and define our future.
