Whether you’re after a precision-restored CJ-2A that nods to history, or a CJ-8 reconfigured as a luxury-capable backcountry hauler, the RMS CJ Series doesn’t just recreate—it redefines. Every model is built on a bedrock of mechanical integrity, chassis strengthening, and electronics integration where it enhances usability—not where it interferes with the core.

This isn’t nostalgia. It’s continuity—crafted, capable, and absolutely uncompromising.

Welcome to the RMS CJ Series. The past never looked this ready for tomorrow.

RMS CJ Series – American Utility Reforged

At Robin Motor Sport, we believe in honouring function as much as form—and few vehicles embody rugged functionality more than the original Willys Jeep CJ lineage. From the no-nonsense CJ-2A that brought battlefield ingenuity to post-war America, through to the versatile long-wheelbase CJ-8 Scrambler, the CJ range is a living record of honest engineering and adaptive utility.

The RMS CJ Series is our tribute to this evolution—restored, reimagined, and refitted with the capability, powertrain, and craftsmanship demanded by the modern enthusiast. Each model in the CJ line is treated as a distinct chapter in the narrative, not a footnote.

Covered Variants:

  • CJ-2A (1945–1949): The first civilian Jeep. RMS restores this utilitarian icon with updated drivetrains, custom loadout options, and subtle mechanical upgrades—retaining the flat-fender look but upgrading usability.

  • CJ-3A (1949–1953): Improved ride comfort and water fording capacity; RMS builds this as a pure off-grid platform—optional snorkel intakes, modern ignition waterproofing, and uprated axles standard.

  • CJ-3B (1953–1968): Known for its taller grille and housing for the Hurricane engine. RMS refines this silhouette and offers engine upgrades ranging from modern crate four-cylinders to performance V6 options.

  • CJ-5 (1955–1983): The longest-lived CJ, loved for its versatility. We produce the RMS CJ-5 in multiple trim levels—ranging from purist builds to overland expedition-ready setups with Dana 44 axles, digital gauges, and soft or hard-top modularity.

  • CJ-6 (1955–1975): A stretched CJ-5 ideal for utility or troop-carry platforms. The RMS CJ-6 is available in dual-cab, half-top, or full safari configurations with optional retro military livery or modernised commercial trim.

  • CJ-7 (1976–1986): Where refinement met off-road performance. We elevate the CJ-7 with optional V8 conversions, selectable 4WD transfer cases, integrated roll protection, and modern seating for true daily-driver comfort.

  • CJ-8 Scrambler (1981–1986): The CJ with a bed. RMS Scramblers retain the dual nature of truck and trail tool—with premium finishes, reinforced beds, and high-clearance suspension setups that don’t just echo the 80s—they outperform it.
